Important contribution to fire protection, thanks to a special locker design
We have reviewed our lockers and carried out fire tests in collaboration with materials testing company Materialprüfungsanstalt Dresden GmbH. The results are remarkable:
- Mietra’s special design takes the fire load away from the school corridors and out of the classrooms.
- Even when lockers are overfilled, or in the event of explosions inside a locker, the fire will not spread to nearby lockers or to the school buildings.
- TÜV-certified "school lockers" have piano hinge mounting and sloping roofs for even greater safety and tidiness in school life.
