Locker issues

I can't find my locker.

Along with the key or the number combination, you will be sent a location description and a cabinet number, which will give you a rough indication of the stated location (e.g. ground floor). The crucial factor is the locker number, which identifies the locker. If your child still has problems finding the locker, please contact us on +49 (0)34345/7295-0.


How many keys will I be given?

You will generally be given one locker key at the start of your rental agreement. We would be happy to send you additional keys, if required, which are each subject to an administration fee of €9.00 (incl. VAT). If a key is lost, we will not be able to return your deposit at the end of the agreement.


Is it possible to be given a number combination instead of a key or vice versa?

Unfortunately the type of lock is fixed. Your school decided which locking system to use when the lockers were installed.


I can't open the combination lock.

If the combination lock won't open, first of all make sure that your child is trying to open the correct locker. Using your own PIN, take a look at our new operating instructions here on our website. If the lock still won't open, please send us an email here with the lock number (found on the rear of the padlock).


Combination lock suddenly won't open any more

Please check whether the locker rental fee has been paid, otherwise we may have changed the lock. You should also make sure that your child is using the correct number combination and, if required, request this again here

Ask your child to take special note of the locker number so that they do not try inadvertently to open another locker. If you need any help please call us at +49 (0)34345/7295-0. When doing so, have the lock number to hand. This can be found on the rear of the padlock.

If you have a cylinder lock, you should check whether the key is faulty or the lock is blocked in some way.


Forgotten the combination

You can view the combination right here on the service portal. If you do not yet have access to the service portal, simply register here. Alternatively, you can request the combination via  email.


Who has access to the locker?

Only the student, using an individual number combination or a key, has access to the locker. The only exception is the school office, which has a master key and is entitled to open the locker in emergencies without consent. Mietra also has a master key so it can carry out maintenance activities during the summer holidays. Therefore the locker must be completely emptied before the start of the summer holidays.
